Abstraction

Mixed Media. My artwork is an evolution of exploration and expression of the beauty found in nature. I work with a variety of materials and forms creating unique colors and textures to tell the story of beauty, joy, and complex simplicity found in nature.

3 Dimensional

In 2013, I began working with wire and beads to express movement, wonder and a deeper dimension to my work.

Collectable

In 2014 I began working with paper, cloth, wire and other materials to create  Fine Art Collectables - textured multimedia bowls, baskets and vases. I can create custom keepsakes for special events or gifts. Contact me for details.

UpCycled

CLARAfications is about beautification. I love taking used items and up-cycling them for new uses. My ceiling fixtures are made with heat-treated organic fibers, retired jewelry and other found objects. My "Messy Boots" have been a huge hit - particularly for the holidays and special events. The Violins

The violin is thought to be the instrument closest to the human voice. These works of art on physical violins were created to illustrate the connection between voice to music and vision to art.
